We are super excited to design a few upcoming Indian weddings this year. Since this task has been assigned, I must say I have been completely obsessed Indian wedding design. The colors are so rich. The design is so opulent and lush. The culture is intertwined within the design. I am all over it! See what I mean...

CB Wedding Design | A Nod to Wizard of Oz - Part I
I must confess that I am terrible about sharing our work on this blog, which is obviously the best place to showcase it. So why not start today. Our second wedding of the year was very fun to design. The bride, Melissa, who is an amazing wedding photographer, (check her out here!) has the cutest affection for Wizard of Oz. She even has red ruby slippers tattooed on her feet!! So when planning her wedding, it obviously had to show homage to her favorite movie. So here's a first taste of our "Nod to Wizard of Oz" from Project Duo Photography.
More detail shots from this Oz gorgeous wedding on tomorrow!

CB Floral Design | Rustic Chic
The WOW Wedding Giveaway winner's, Ronnie and Brent, wedding is tomorrow. However, their rehearsal dinner is today! An intimate affair for 20 close friends. As the floral and event design sponsors for this amazing couple, I whipped up these beauties for their cocktail tables.
Who says beautiful arrangements need to be frilly?! Created with horsetail, variegated aspidistra, green dianthus, scabiosa pods, escimo roses, and grey berzillia berries by Nikki Michel of Ciao Bella Weddings.

Getting married at an art studio? Create your own wedding masterpiece with this cool backdrop.
I saw this backdrop in the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings and thought it was the coolest thing. It took me a minute to visually see how it was put together...but only a minute! The best thing...it is completely DIY. Check it out!
