Aisle of Style | For The Bride

Happy Monday Bellas!  All of my style mavens, I am sure were spying the latest fashions to grace the red carpet at the Golden Globes on last evening.  Among all of the loveliness, I was inspired by Jennifer Lopez's look that can be easily transformed into a high style wedding day look for my glamorous brides.

Pure gorgeousness, right?!

This can be your glamorous wedding day look...
The Dress
A sleek floor length nude dress from designer Zuhair Murad.  This designer has an ah-mazing collection of wedding dresses.

The Shoes
No matter the length of the dress, every glam bride has the hidden gems under her gown!  These nude, crystal embellished strappy sandals from Jimmy Choo are the perfect compliment!

The Hair
With such a detailed dress, I suggest an intricate updo.

The Face
Dramatic eyes and lips for a runway worthy look down the aisle!

The Jewels
Simple gold toned "Secret Garden" earrings from Stella & Dot!

The Bouquet
A delicate bouquet of lace, vintage fabric, and pearls with ornate brooch details.

Would you consider this look for your day?  Stay tuned for the décor details from the rest of this Golden Globe inspired wedding day!

An Amazingly Beautful Year...2012!

This was one of Ciao Bella Weddings' most amazing years to date.  We have made long lasting connections with amazing couples and took part in making their wedding a unique experience for both the couple and their guests.  Our year in rewind...

We started off the year with an amazing partnership with Glendalough Manor as one of their preferred floral vendors.
Melissa + Stephen | Glendalough Manor

In January, we designed an amazing reception including two estate tables seating 100 guests each!  What a statement they made!!!

Alana + Darwin | Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church

In February, one of my favorite wedding photographers Melissa Prosser, entrusted us with her Wizard of Oz themed wedding (complete with Emerald City) at King Plow.

Melissa + Bobby | King Plow

In March, we participated as the sponsoring flora/eventl designer for the WOW Wedding giveaway for our first same sex commitment ceremony at East Andrews

Ronnie + Brent | East Andrews
In April, we were contacted by the set directors for an upcoming comedy, Adult Children of Divorce with Amy Poehler, filmed here in Atlanta to stage some of the designs for three different wedding scenes.  It was super exciting to be on set!!!

Lavish fresh floral arch for outdoor wedding scene for movie A.D.O.C at Piedmont Park!

Starting in May, we kicked off a very busy wedding season working at some of Atlanta's most amazing venues.  These venues included Glendalough Manor, Lambert Place, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, Piedmont Tent & Gardens, The Peachtree Club, The Retreat at Perimeter Summit, The Fox Theatre, The Defoor Center, The Old Courthouse on the Square, King Plow, a private estate in North Georgia and TWELVE Hotel.

Merci + Matt | Callnwolde Fine Arts Center
Susie + Dan | Fox Theatre
Liz + Elton | Old Courthouse on the Square

Mia + Garry | The Retreat at Perimeter Summit
Shaina + Jim | Glendalough Manor

During all this, we still snuck in a surprise week long trip to Disney World for my daughter's 9th birthday staying at the Nickelodeon Suites and Resorts...too cool!  I received the coolest mom of the year award for that one!!

Designed a Hawaiian Luau themed birthday party for a super cool 12 year old!

Nothing can top the privilege of designing my best friend of 18 years wedding this October.  Not only did I design the wedding, I was also a bridesmaid!!!!  It was an experience like none other and I would do it all over again.  I am sure she and her hubby would say something completely different!!!

Lela + Alex | TWELVE Atlantic Station

Over thirty amazing weddings this year and we are so grateful to have had the chance to work with all of our wonderful clients, their families, and amazing vendors in 2012.  We can only thank God for all His many wonderful blessings.  Here's to a fabulous year and all that is in store for us in 2013!  We hope to meet you along this new journey!

Ciao...for now!
